Worn alone, they provide practical protection against the cold. Used as an extra thermal layer, they work great in freezing conditions (for example, as thermal insulation under ski or snowboard gloves).

*If you have long fingers or like wearing longer nails, we recommend choosing a larger size. These gloves are made from 100% merino wool, which means they aren't elastic (although wool naturally stretches, it doesn't expand in the same dynamic way as synthetic fibers—it adjusts over time). Wool stretched too much and subjected to friction (like with long nails) may wear out over time, so it’s important to select the right size.
